Singapore's Speciality Food & Drinks Asia: A Culinary Extravaganza.

The fifth iteration of Speciality Food & Drinks Asia (SFDA) 2023, Southeast Asia's premier trade event for artisan, gourmet, and fine food and drink, has begun in Singapore. More than 240 exhibitors and companies from 16 countries and regions are present at the three-day event, which is coordinated by Montgomery Asia. They will be presenting the most cutting-edge and inventive specialty food and beverage items, food-service and delivery solutions, and sustainable packaging.

The Singapore Food & Drink Awards (SFDA) 2023 opened with grandeur, featuring prominent figures like Victor Mah, President of the Singapore Coffee Association, Christopher McCuin,Managing Director of Montgomery Asia, and Guest-of-Honor Ms. Yeo Wan Ling, Member of Parliament for Pasir-Ris Punggol GRC. A significant MoU signing between NTUC and the Singapore Coffee Association aimed to enhance conditions for SMEs in the coffee sector. 

July 2023 witnessed robust sales of S$1 billion in Singapore's Food and Beverage (F&B) sector,underlining its thriving food industry. SFDA provided a pivotal platform for industry players to explore opportunities and address challenges.

With participants from 16 nations, including Belgium, China, and the United Arab Emirates, major exhibitors like the Jeonbuk Institute for Food-Bioindustry and Irish Duck Company showcased their offerings. The event featured engaging activities, competitions, and a commitment to social responsibility through a partnership with The Food Bank Singapore.

Industry support from organizations like the Meat Traders' Association Singapore (MTA) and the Singapore Coffee Association (SCA) contributed to SFDA's success, celebrating Singapore's dynamic F&B sector while promoting innovation and sustainability.
