Red Sea Updates: The 5 Restaurants and Bars Opening at The St. Regis

With other resorts scheduled to launch in 2023, Red Sea development is expected to continue to gather momentum. Information on all the restaurants and bars at St. Regis Red Sea Resort has been made public as it prepares to launch before the end of the year.

The St. Regis Red Sea Resort introduces the brand to Saudi Arabia and contributes to its ongoing expansion in the region. The resort, which is on a private island, is anticipated to include 90 villas. Two of the hotel's specialty restaurants, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a spa, as well as a kids' club are all located there.

Nesma, The Beach Club, Gishiki 45, Tilina, and The St. Regis Bar are just a few of the venues; the latter promises "locally-inspired cocktails." There will be private dinner choices at the upscale hotel.

Nesma

Nesma, the hotel's all-day dining establishment, will predominantly serve Arabic food. According to Marriott, it will contain 142 beds and be "an inviting refuge by the shore that is as delightful as the west wind on a warm summer's day." It makes claims about regional cuisine, live music, regional shows, "super-drinks," and tea master personnel.

The Beach Club

The infinity pool of the resort will host Beach Club. It has 144 covers when the beach and pool are included. It will be built around an open kitchen and include bar entertainment, ice mocktails, and healthy cocktails.

Gishiki 45

The hotel's izakaya and Japanese area called Gishiki 45. Live music, bar entertainment, "rituals," regional fish and shellfish, and Japanese mocktails will all be included. There are 112 covers.

Tilina

The hotel's grill is called Tilina. Once again, it has live music, a bar, "the best imports of meat," and "low ball mocktails."

The St. Regis Bar

The famous St. Regis Bar arrives in the Kingdom. The venue will include 112 seating options, jazz music, bar entertainment, and a tapas bar. A tradition of almost all St. Regis Bars dating back to the creation of the cocktail at the St. Regis New York in 1934, the bar also guarantees to offer bloody marys.

The St. Regis brand has a rich history and culture that is still present today throughout its portfolio, according to a Marriott official who talked to Hotelier Middle East. The characteristic cocktail of the St. Regis brand is created in-house at each hotel and resort in the company's network.  “We have our unique approach in the Middle East, which includes non-alcoholic variants of the beverage.”
