Taste New Zealand Week Returns to LuLu Hypermarket in Saudi Arabia

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is excited to announce the second edition of Taste New Zealand Week, coming to LuLu Hypermarkets across four regions in Saudi Arabia – Riyadh, Jeddah, Yanbu, and Dammam. From February 25th to March 2nd, 2024, consumers will have the opportunity to experience the finest food brands from the island nation.

Part of the ‘Made with Care’ government campaign, Taste New Zealand Week will feature seven esteemed brands in dairy, honey, meat, and produce categories: Egmont Honey, Fonterra, Mānuka Doctor, Rockit™ apple, Silver Fern Farms, Wattie’s, and NIG Nutritionals. This event aims to showcase the unique connection New Zealand producers have with the land and sea, rooted in care, respect, and sustainability.

New Zealand is renowned globally for its high-quality food and beverage industry, trusted by consumers in over 140 countries. With nutrient-rich soil, lush pastures, and pristine coastlines, combined with the expertise of its producers, New Zealand delivers delicious and flavorful products.

Moreover, New Zealand boasts a stringent food safety system overseen by the government, ensuring that food is safe, nutritious, and of premium quality. This commitment to safety and quality is reflected in every product exported from New Zealand.

To kick off the festivities, Opening Day Celebrations will take place at LuLu, Diplomatic Quarter on February 25th, from 10 am to 1 pm. In-store activities will continue throughout the week at various LuLu Hypermarket locations, offering consumers the chance to sample these exceptional New Zealand brands.

Sampling timings across the participating locations are as follows:

• February 25th: 5 pm – 9 pm
• February 26th to 29th: 5 pm – 9 pm
• March 1st to 2nd: 10 am – 1 pm and 5 pm – 9 pm
