Mika Restaurant Review: Mediterranean Magic at Unbeatable Prices

Mika has swiftly become my top choice in Abu Dhabi dining. Transporting me to the luxurious ambiance of Saint-Tropez, minus the hefty price tag, this gem in Yas Marina is a breath of fresh air.

Replacing the old Aquarium restaurant, Mika has revitalized the waterfront vista with its Mediterranean charm. Chef-patron Mario Loi's passion for simplicity shines through in every aspect, from the stunning interiors to the eclectic menu.

Despite its recent opening, Mika has already garnered a reputation for excellence and unforgettable sunset dining experiences. The extensive renovations, completed just before the Abu Dhabi Formula One, set the stage for its remarkable success.

While the restaurant's interiors boast French woods and Italian marble, it's the outdoor terrace that steals the show. Designed for the UAE's winter months, it offers breathtaking views of Yas Marina Circuit and the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island.

Chef Loi's diverse background influences Mika's ever-changing sharing-style menu, featuring delights like cod croquettes, pan-fried prawns, and lamb tacos. The restaurant also offers enticing promotions, including a value-packed business lunch and a Saturday brunch.

Mika's charm lies in its welcoming atmosphere and Chef Loi's commitment to serving dishes he loves. The mushroom truffle risotto and chicken Milanese are standout options, capturing the essence of the Italian good life.

With the fried feta filo stealing the spotlight as a must-try dish, Mika promises a dining experience like no other. Prices are reasonable, with starters ranging from Dh30 to Dh70, and mains from Dh95 to Dh120.

Located in Yas Marina, Mika is open from noon to midnight on weekdays and until 1 am on weekends. For reservations, contact 056 433 1422.
