Marriott International Expands Branded Residences Portfolio in the Middle East & Africa

Marriott International is making significant strides in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, with its branded residences portfolio now spanning 41 projects. This includes 29 projects in its signed pipeline and 12 open properties. With a sharp focus on luxury and world-class service, Marriott is quickly becoming a dominant force in the residential real estate market.

In the last two years, Marriott has doubled its efforts, signing 19 new agreements in the MEA region to bring branded residences to some of the most iconic destinations. From exclusive Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residences to the chic W Residences at Dubai Harbour, Marriott’s branded residences cater to a wide range of homebuyers looking for exceptional living spaces in both urban and luxurious retreat settings.

Accelerated Growth in the MEA Region

  • The JW Marriott Residences New Cairo, Al Jazi First: Marriott’s first branded residences under the JW Marriott brand in Africa, featuring 277 residences in New Cairo, Egypt.

  • The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Cairo, Palm Hills: With 150 exclusive residences offering exceptional living spaces and views of the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Palm Hills Golf Course.

  • W Residences Cairo: The first W Hotels branded residence in Africa, set within the premier lifestyle destination One Ninety in Cairo.

  • The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Dubai, Creekside: Offering 200 residences and 12 mansions, this development includes exclusive yacht berthing for residents.

  • The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Diriyah: Located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, these luxury residences are inspired by Najdi heritage, combining elegance with tradition.

  • The St. Regis Residences, Financial Center Road, Dubai: A successful launch, with 70% of units sold within the first hour, reflecting Marriott’s ability to generate impressive sales velocity.
