Marriott announces the luxurious Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa

In Ras Al Khaimah, Marriott plans to debut Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa in 2026. Along with Nobu, Earth, and the Wynn integrated resort, the future premium hotel is one of several to move on the artificial Marjan island.

The Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa will contain 350 rooms, seven dining options, a pool, and a spa, promising its visitors the "good life". It is being built by Three Musketeers Hospitality (TMH), a fully owned subsidiary of the Plus Holding Limited (PHL) company, which was established by Jaideep Halwasiya, Surendra Bagri, and Hari Tibrewala and has its headquarters in the UAE.

Saahil Lalit, VP - development, Middle East, Marriott International, stated "We are excited to work with Three Musketeers Hospitality to bring Le Méridien's contemporary design, engaging spaces, and signature programming to Al Marjan Island." "Ras Al Khaimah continues to gain popularity as a sought-after leisure destination, and through our current portfolio and upcoming developments, we look forward to supporting the overall growth of the tourism sector in the Emirate."

"We are thrilled that Marriott International is bringing the upscale and distinctive experiences of Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts to our residents and visitors on Al Marjan Island," stated Abdulla Abdouli, CEO of Marjan.

"The island's expanding portfolio of audacious and ambitious integrated projects is revolutionizing waterfront life in the United Arab Emirates and luring more foreign capital into the Emirate. Al Marjan Island continues to expand its hotel inventory and broaden its attractiveness as a location for investments and a high-quality of life, making Marriott International's new Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa a perfect match.

Aldar continues to purchase property, Emaar will build its own hotels, Dubai Investments recently invested money in the region for a resort and residential development, and the Wynn resort and casino will open in 2027.

More people are interested in the island as a result of the Wynn development. Abdullah AlAbdouli remarked at the Future Hospitality Summit Dubai 2022: "This resort will have a tremendous impact on the entire emirate of Ras Al Khaimah."

The Las Vegas-based Wynn Resorts company is the originator of the brand and specializes in integrated resorts, which often include casinos. On Marjan Island, there will be a RAK resort.
