Kellogg’s Commemorates a Century in Australia

Multinational food giant Kellogg’s recently observed its 100th anniversary in Australia. It entered the market in 1924 with the introduction of Corn Flakes and has since become a prominent player in the breakfast cereal sector. Kellogg’s Botany factory, established in 1928, produces 42 million kilograms of cereal annually, sourcing most of its raw materials from local farmers. Anthony Holme, Managing Director at Kellanova ANZ, expressed pride in leading the celebrations, reflecting on the company's extensive history of serving Australians. Kellogg’s has a strong commitment to supporting local communities, having donated over 60 million servings of cereals and snacks in the last decade through its Better Days initiative. In 2020, Kellogg’s collaborated with the Cool Soil Initiative to mitigate farm greenhouse gas emissions and ensure crop sustainability in the face of climate change. The company has introduced several brands to the Australian market, including Nutri-Grain, Just Right, and Sustain. Holme emphasized Kellogg’s dedication to Australian farmers, aiming to maintain their resilience for continued ingredient sourcing in the next century.
