Gulfood Manufacturing, a prominent worldwide trade show, will take place from November 8-10, 2022, according to an announcement made by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). This year’s edition is expected to be 40% bigger than those of the previous years, and 25% of the exhibitors will be making their debut at the show for the first time. The event will showcase innovative worldwide products, solutions, and technology throughout the food and beverage value chain. A strong development trajectory that further underlines Dubai’s appeal to the global market, as well as the overall competitiveness of the UAE’s industrial sector and its business environment, in accordance with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, Operation 300Bn.
The event will bring together the food and beverage manufacturing industry across sectors in processing, packaging, ingredients, supply chain solutions, and control & automation; in a single food ecosystem with an agenda that will shape the future of the manufacturing industry. This will include amplifying the opportunity created by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as well as building upon and supporting the transformation of the country’s industrial sector into a global manufacturing hub, in line with the U.S.
Gulfood Manufacturing 2022 is an event that will take place over three days and will focus on the topics of sustainability, the adoption of advanced technology, the evolution of nutrition and efficiency, and the stimulation of innovation. The goal of the event is to assist businesses in cutting costs, growing, and transforming. The most significant obstacles confronting global food production will also be tackled, the most significant of which being the rise in food costs. As a result of the fact that food prices have increased by over 7% in advanced economies and by nearly 14% in emerging markets this year, inflation, as well as the repercussions that it will have for the poorest people in the world, will be a primary topic of discussion throughout the course of this year.
Gulfood Manufacturing continues to attract attention from leading participants in the worldwide food production industry, as shown by the fact that all available display booth space has already been purchased for this year. Wilmar (the Platinum Sponsor for Gulfood Manufacturing 2022), Givaudan, Cargill, and International Flavors & Fragrances are just some of the major names in the ingredients industry that have already committed to attending the 2022 event. 95% of the top ingredient companies in the world will be there. In addition, companies such as Riekermann and Tetrapak, as well as Siemens, GEA, SIG, and Krones, will be present to represent the processing and packaging industries. Countries like Switzerland and Portugal will be participating in the event in full force for the first time in recent memory, making this year’s iteration the one to see Europe’s largest participation in recent memory.
