Hilton Extends its Partnership with Fresh On Table in UAE

After the success of 2022, Hilton has continued its relationship with Fresh On Table, an agri-tech platform located in the UAE. The cooperation will continue to buy twice as much local product for the brand's locations in the country, with expanded goals and a strategic sourcing approach.

In 2022, the two organisations exceeded their local food sourcing goals due to their collaboration. Formerly, Hilton sourced 440 tonnes of local products annually for its UAE properties; this cooperation is projected to boost that amount to over 900 tonnes.

The agreement has resulted in the inclusion of 45 new line items, such as herbs and green vegetables, with an anticipated annual volume of 50 tonnes.

Emma Banks, vice president of F&B Strategy & Development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Hilton, stated, "Expanding our cooperation with Fresh On Table aligns with Hilton's ongoing Travel with Purpose commitment to source locally. With the new arrangement with Fresh on Table, we intend to promote local agriculture and encourage others in the hotel industry to do the same."

Atul Chopra, founder of Fresh On Table Company, continued, "Fresh On Table's objective is to continue to promote the circular economy by assisting key industry participants and bringing production and consumption as near as feasible. We are happy to be deepening our cooperation with Hilton through a new deal for 2023 and feel that our combined efforts of local sourcing will have an unprecedented influence on the nation's food supply network and the hotel industry."
