Dubai, UAE, May 26 2024: Next month’s edition of The Hotel Show 2024 will preview the trends and techniques positioned to elevate excellence, efficiency, and environmental focus across the global hospitality sector. An impressive 27 countries will be showcased at Dubai World Trade Centre between 4-6 June, where attendees will have a chance to hear from industry experts, as well as have the opportunity to engage with existing and future clients and suppliers showcasing their sustainability solutions in categories such as hotel technology, catering equipment, services, and amenities.

Since its inception more than 20 years ago, the three-day show has cemented its legacy globally as the region’s largest hospitality trade event. In this latest edition, organized by dmg events, the show will offer insights into the evolving hospitality landscape, including trends such as sustainable and eco-friendly solutions, AI in kitchens, and technology designed to improve efficiency and security across operations while increasing revenue.

Among the list of renowned exhibitors are RAK Porcelain, Everstyle, Gulf Asian, Dhofa, Linen Obsession, Tramontina, Industrias, and Jerusalam.

BE WTR, a Swiss-founded eco-friendly water bottling solution already gaining attention in the UAE through partnerships with reputed hotels such as Marriot Bonvoy and Nikki Beach is set to launch a unique sustainable water bottling system. It will provide hotels with an eco-conscious water solution in the form of a state-of-the art, fully automated product enabling hotels to bottle their own filtered water on site.

As per the Booking.com 2023 Sustainable Travel Report, travellers are now leaning towards adopting eco-friendly practices while travelling, with 76 per cent of travellers expressing a desire to travel more

sustainably. Hotel chains and boutique hotels alike are also aligning with global sustainability trends, with more than 500,000 accommodations gaining eco-friendly labels in 2023.

The Hotel Show aligns with these global trends and has incorporated sustainability expert industry talks that carry CPD accreditation at the event. Industry experts will take the stage to discuss the reduction of environmental impact in the GCC hospitality industry, aligning itself with Dubai’s Vision 2040. In addition to these significant conversations towards sustainability, the show has transitioned to digital-only badges, minimising paper and resource consumption, further encouraging exhibitors to utilise digital brochures to keep up with the event’s eco-conscious efforts. Key topics may include navigating challenges and security threats in the hospitality industry, IT adoption, AI food tracking, harmonising operational efficiency and brand integrity, and exploring the potential of cloud applications in modern hospitality.

The Hotel Show 2024 will span Sheikh Saeed Halls one to three and the Trade Centre Arena as more than 250 exhibitors prepare for an anticipated visitor turnout exceeding 10,000 people.
