Cellavent is making its debut in the fermented botanical industry with the introduction of a potent new organic turmeric that has a broad variety of qualities that contribute to one’s organoleptic experience.
Fermentlife Turmeric offers all of the medicinal characteristics of turmeric, including the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of curcuminoids. Cellavent, on the other hand, is able to offer a comprehensive matrix of additional bioactive compounds owing to its newly developed controlled fermentation method. These bioactive substances include postbiotics and paraprobiotics.
The end product is a novel form of turmeric that has a plethora of advantages for the general health of the digestive tract, greater bioavailability, and enhanced flavour, odour, and solubility. It may be purchased all over the world, has been given the organic certification in the EU*, and can be used in both food and nutraceuticals.
Fermentlife Turmeric is made by fermenting three different approved strains of Lactobacillus, which results in the production of various metabolites throughout the fermentation process. It does this by supplementing turmeric’s mode of action with postbiotics and paraprobiotics, which are probiotics that still offer some benefit while being inactive. As a result, it has a beneficial effect on gut health and overall wellbeing, and it also increases bioactivity. In addition to that, it is packed with a wide variety of other bioactive components, including as essential oils, saponins, and peptides.
Cellavent is making its debut in the fermented botanical industry with this launch, which represents the company’s first foray into the market. The new fermentlife business segment of the corporation will use both time-honored fermentation techniques and cutting-edge scientific research. Cellavent created a large-scale fermentation technique that was precisely regulated in order to manufacture the new variety of products. This process has the ability to be replicated in order to make individualised products for the company’s clients.
According to Marcus Haag, the Chief Executive Officer of Cellavent, “When we set out to create fermentlife, our goal wasn’t just to increase bioavailability or curcuminoid content. Rather, our objective was to provide the complete spectrum of turmeric’s distinctive bioactive profile.” We were aware that fermentation was the essential step in realising that potential, but we also were aware that executing the procedure correctly was of the utmost importance. A method of fermentation that is subject to a great deal of control has been created by us over the course of two years. This is just the beginning since we now have the technology that will enable us to make brand-new and one-of-a-kind fermented goods with the purpose of making the world a healthier place. And since our skills are both replicable and scalable, we will be able to provide our clients with opportunity to do the same.
Fermentlife is an excellent choice for a wide variety of applications in the nutraceutical industry, including powders, capsules, and liquids. Additionally, it has the ability to improve the flavour, consistency, and aroma of a wide variety of common foods, such as baked goods, spices, snack food, and food for pets. Additionally, it is offered as a paste that is excellent for use in applications such as healthy spreads, dips, and food service.
