Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort has worked relentlessly over the last six years to become more sustainable, and today considers itself an industry leader in sustainable hospitality.
According to the operators, the five-star Palm Jumeirah hotel no longer compares itself to others in Dubai. To the contrary, they are on par with Singapore's finest hotels. Specifically, the resort has a waste diversion rate of 62, which is comparable to the trash diversion rate in Asian markets.
James Hewitson, the resort's general manager, said, "It's a genuine team effort at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. We have developed a genuinely sustainable and ethical resort by adopting a comprehensive approach, therefore maintaining luxury hospitality for future generations. We look forward to solidifying our success and will continue to seek out new and inventive methods to lead the premium hotel sector in terms of sustainability."
