All About the Upcoming Edition of Fruit Attraction

The International Fruit and Vegetable Trade Fair, 2022 Fruit Attraction, reveals that the dates for its upcoming edition, which is being put on by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, are from October 4 to October 6.

Overall, the projections for 2022 are positive, with 90,000 professionals and roughly 1,800 businesses participating, which is comparable to the numbers for 2019. These metrics show the fruit and vegetable industry’s interest and support in promoting the fair as a crucial tool for the internationalization of the sector and a meeting place for all the professionals involved in the entire supply chain, according to the event’s two organizers, IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX.

Currently, participation from nearly all of Spain’s producing regions and Autonomous Communities is anticipated, along with participation from 42 other countries internationally, demonstrating the sector’s unwavering commitment to the initiative in this edition.

In addition to the already established Fresh Produce and Auxiliary Industry sectors, a new monographic area called the start-up’s hub will be constructed specifically for recently founded businesses. Additionally, it will advertise Fresh Food Logistics, the industry platform for fresh food logistics, transport, and cold chain management.

Ecorganic Market, a dedicated area for the promotion and export of organic goods, is still expanding. The Fresh&Star section of this edition will feature strawberries prominently.

Fruit Attraction provides a platform for advertising and growth. With the help of ICEX and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, IFEMA Madrid will invest in the International Buyers Programme once more to bring hundreds of buyers, retail buying managers, importers, and wholesalers to Madrid.

Along with Canada, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, the Guest Importing Country will also participate. To strengthen ties with these two markets, Fruit Attraction will host a complete schedule of round tables, guided fair tours, and B2B sessions.
