Al Amir Food Industries will Establish a Food Manufacturing Plant in Ras Al Khaimah.

Al Amir Food Industries (AAFI) will spend AED35 million in a new food manufacturing plant in Ras Al Khaimah. The 13,500 square meter facility will be dedicated to the processing of pulses and spices, importing goods from Canada, Australia, and Russia and exporting them across the GCC and East Africa. It is anticipated that the space would create fifty new employment.

In addition to importing and exporting, the firm will also provide white labeling options, wherein Al Amir's goods may be customized according to the brands of individual clients. The solution will be geared at merchants, upscale grocery chains, and ethnic markets.

Through an agreement with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, the Al Ghail Industrial Zone area becomes a reality.

Al Amir Food Industries provides assistance for imports and exports.

When asked why the firm picked RAKEZ for its new plant, AAFI managing director Abdul Majid Ranani said, "RAKEZ industrial zones provide strategic access to numerous ports, and Ras Al Khaimah's center position for bulk trades enables us to readily distribute our products. Additionally, the economic zone has a comprehensive built-in infrastructure that is appropriate for our activities to be conducted simply and cost-effectively."

Commenting on AAFI's incorporation into the RAKEZ ecosystem, RAKEZ group CEO Ramy Jallad said, "We are pleased to be the chosen hub of yet another significant production and supply chain participant in the F&B industry — Al Amir Food Industries. Our current logistics infrastructure and end-to-end industrial solutions will completely support the organization's import and export journey."

He said, "In keeping with UAE's food security plan, one of our aims is to help in sustainable food production and improve local manufacturing by providing F&B investors with a hospitable environment in which they may develop and flourish. We are now home to hundreds of F&B firms active in agri-tech, manufacturing, packaging, and trade, and we will continue to enhance our industrial ecosystem and increase our support for global F&B businesses seeking to prosper in the MENA area."
