Abu Dhabi National Hotels to Develop $272m Resort in Ras Al Khaimah

Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) is spending more than one billion AED in the construction of a premium resort in Ras Al Khaimah.

The resort, which will be situated on the emirate’s Al Marjan Island, is part of the company’s post-pandemic growth plans.

The resort, situated on a 1,000,000 square foot property, will contain 1000 rooms.

“This premium resort will complement our current portfolio in Abu Dhabi and Dubai,” said Khalid Anib, chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi National Hotels.

Anib continued, “At ADNH, we are convinced that our investment in Ras Al Khaimah will generate substantial returns for our shareholders and strengthen the UAE’s position as a premier tourist and hospitality destination.”

Al Marjan Island is a popular tourist destination in the United Arab Emirates and home to a number of hotel companies. “The investment by ADNH to create a premium resort on Al Marjan Island demonstrates its faith in the destination’s potential and will spur future investment,” said Abdulla Al Abdooli, Marjan’s chief executive officer.

Al Marjan Island has around 3,000 hotel rooms, including those at Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island, Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, Rixos Bab Al Bahr Hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton Resort and Spa Marjan Island, and Marjan Island Resort and Spa.
