SIGEP-The Dolce World Expo (44th edition), the Italian Exhibition Group's international trade show of artisan gelato, pastry, bakery, and coffee, will take place in Rimini, Italy, from January 21st to January 25th, in conjunction with AB Tech Expo (7th edition), which focuses on technologies and machinery for bakery, pastry, and confectionery. Sigep is consequently a must-attend event for discovering new items and expanding one's expertise.

Participating pastry chefs include masters Igino Massari, Salvatore De Riso, Alessandro Dalmasso, Roberto Rinaldini, and Eugenio Morrone, as well as Marcus Bohr, Executive Pastry Chef at Harrods in London, and Giancarlo Timballo, President of Cogel Fipe and organizer of the Gelato World Cup.

And for those who enjoy international competitions, the 44th edition will host the Gelato Europe Cup, in which Austria, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, and Hungary will compete for the final of the 10th Gelato World Cup, which will be held at SIGEP 2024; competitors from Korea, Japan, India, Italy, and Peru will vie for the title of Women's Pastry Queen, while the Junior Pastry World Championship will feature competitors under the age of 25.

In the Bakery Arena, teams from China, Croatia, Israel, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, and Spain will compete in the fifth edition of Bread in The City, an international bakery championship hosted by Club Richemont. Coffee artists and skilled baristas will compete in the Coffee Arena to win the seven SCA Italy (Italian chapter of the Specialty Coffee Association) events that qualify for the World Coffee Championships.
