Łódzkie region demonstrates impressive business and cultural potential at the EXPO 2020 in Dubai

Companies manufacturing multi-functional self-service devices and an expert in industrial biotechnology – the world discovered innovative businesses from and the economic potential of the Łódzkie region thanks to their presentation at the Dubai 2020 Expo. The Łódzkie region was presented at the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai on 6-10 November 2021 in the Polish Pavilion. The motto of the exhibition was “Łódzkie Voivodeship. Modernity inspired by tradition.”

“The Expo is an opportunity to present the best our region has to show to the entire world,” said Grzegorz Schreiber, Head of the Łódzkie Voivoideship, one of the ambassadors of the exhibition. “We put everything we had into the presentation. We had such high hopes in attending the event. The objective was to highlight our local entrepreneurs. People who are actively trying to establish themselves on European and world markets. The Dubai Expo was the perfect opportunity,” Grzegorz Schreiber added.

Representatives of businesses from the Łódzkie region who traveled to the United Arab Emirates made sure the region was showcased as it deserves. The companies present in Dubai represented the agriculture and food industries. Exhibitors included Jagoda JPS Agromachines and Agro-Masz, manufacturers of high-end agricultural, garden, and orchard machinery; industrial biotechnology expert Biotechnika (a supplier of, among others, economic fuel production solutions applied in biogas plants); Selfmaker Technology, a technological company that designs and develops multi-functional self-service devices, integration tools, and dedicated software; as well as the manufacturers of “Majami” fudge candy and “Chrupex” snacks.
