NEOM, the visionary megaproject in northwest Saudi Arabia, has lifted the curtain on its latest venture, Epicon. This ambitious project aims to redefine coastal living, seamlessly blending opulence, architectural innovation, and environmental sustainability, marking a significant step forward in NEOM's vision for a sustainable and diverse travel destination.
Epicon introduces an array of luxurious homes, encompassing 14 suites and flats, accompanied by an exclusive 41-key hotel. This premier seaside tourist destination promises an exquisite fusion of lavish hospitality and breathtaking architecture.
At the heart of Epicon are two architectural marvels – a 225-meter tower and a towering 275-meter skyscraper – both poised against the backdrop of the mesmerizing Gulf of Aqaba. These structures will host an upscale 41-key hotel, along with opulent flats and suites spread across 14 stories.
The Epicon resort, located adjacent to the hotel, is meticulously designed to offer a serene yet opulent experience. Boasting 120 rooms and 45 beachfront villas, the resort is set to feature a comprehensive range of amenities, including a beach club, spa, water sports facilities, fine dining, and a seamless connection to the natural beauty of the surroundings. Residents and visitors alike will have access to state-of-the-art amenities, such as a fitness center, library, offices, swimming pools, and lounges, all strategically positioned to provide breathtaking views of NEOM's pristine coastline.
Positioned at the northernmost point of NEOM's coastline, Epicon aspires to epitomize the harmony of nature, unique experiences, and architectural innovation. NEOM envisions it not only as an ideal residential haven but also as an alluring visitor destination, promising an immersive and life-affirming experience.
In conjunction with the Epicon launch, NEOM recently unveiled Leyja, another sustainable tourism project. Nestled in a captivating natural valley, Leyja offers an immersive experience with residences strategically located approximately 2.8 kilometers from the entrance. The project features three distinctively designed hotels, each comprising 120 boutique rooms and suites, catering to various preferences.
Leyja aligns seamlessly with NEOM's commitment to sustainability by preserving an impressive 95% of its land and integrating ecological design with the natural landscape. The project emphasizes ecotourism, offering a plethora of experiences such as guided wadi hikes, indoor and outdoor mountain biking, climbing adventures, and culinary delights prepared by renowned chefs.
Epicon and Leyja together propel Saudi Arabia's broader objectives of cultivating a thriving and sustainable tourism industry. As NEOM continues to unveil flagship regions like Trojena, Oxagon, THE LINE, and Sindalah, it reaffirms its status as a pioneer in crafting diverse and sustainable travel destinations in the region.
